Recorded live in front of a rowdy online audience on mixlr.com.

Discourse Talent Show

Submissions are open now, go to discourse.co.nz/comp to send your entry in. You’ve got a couple of weeks to get your entry in. Any creative, cool, or fun endeavor that you can document and present online will do. A photo (or photoshop), painting, recorded dance, song, poem, performing a joke, doing a backflip, or whatever it is you can come up with. The Discourse team will pick one winner, and the audience favourite will also win.

Both winners receive an HTC Trophy Windows Phone 7 phone, thanks to Microsoft. The worst entry gets some junky android handset from the grimy bottom of Ben’s gadget box.

Discourse XL

A Word From Our Sponsor

Do you want to be able to stream Hulu or BBC iPlayer, even though you’re not currently in America or the UK? Do you have some reason for wanting people who try to look at your internet connection to see not that you’re in New Zealand, but instead that you’re on some anonymous IP address in Canada, Sweden, France, England, America, or Russia? Do you just generally want to have your anonymity protected on the internet, maybe because your government has recently passed stupid dangerous draconian laws? Tell them to mind their own business, while you mind your own and go to discourse.co.nz/vpn and sign up. The service is provided by PureVPN, and it’s surprisingly inexpensive (and works perfectly from New Zealand).
